Highlights of the News

Good morning. Donald John Trump is still our president.

ITEM 1: ZMan reported, "Just when you thought it was safe, after the Mueller testimony was a colossal flop, President Trump finds a way to get everyone outraged all over again. His tweets about Congressman Elijah Cummings and his congressional district, have all the usual suspects pointing and sputtering. Given the amount of pointing and sputtering they have had to do the last three years, it is a miracle that they can even sputter. It should not be possible to be outraged for three years, but here we are."

He explained why Democrats consider President Trump's anti-crime tweets racist.

He wrote, "92.9% of those arrested for murder are black and 91% of their victims are black. Crime in Baltimore is a black thing."

So much for Urkel's Black Lives Matter campaign.

ITEM 2:
Seattle wants to be the white Baltimore.

ITEM 3: The New York Post reported, "The fatal shooting at a Brooklyn block party overnight — just steps away from where cops were doused with water last weekend — is proof the city is 'slowly crumbling,' the Sergeants Benevolent Association said Sunday.

"In a scathing email sent out to union members, SBA President Ed Mullins blamed Police Commissioner James O’Neill for the state of the city and called for his removal.

"'None of it is funny, 12 people were shot, someone is dead, and cops were hit with water. NYC is slowly crumbling. Don’t say you weren’t warned. Restore the NYPD – REMOVE O’NEILL!' Mullins wrote."

Mayor DeBlasio wants his town to be Baltimore on the East River.

ITEM 4: The Daily Mail reported, "President Donald Trump is defending his verbal attack on the city of Baltimore and Rep. Elijah Cummings and has taken to Twitter to revile Nancy Pelosi and her district of San Francisco.

"Trump sparked outrage on Saturday when he blasted Baltimore as a 'disgusting, rodent-infested mess' and Cummings as 'brutal bully', leading Speaker Pelosi and other Democrats to condemn the president for his harsh words.

"But the president seemed unfazed and shifted his focus to Pelosi on Sunday writing, 'Speaking of failing badly, has anyone seen what is happening to Nancy Pelosi's district in San Francisco,' adding 'it's not even recognizable lately.'

"He went on to complain that Democrats 'always play the race card' after Pelosi called him a racist for insulting Baltimore and its lawmakers."

San Francisco is a literal toilet. Baltimore is the Charm City. San Francisco is the Needs Charmin City. It is Poop Baltimore.

ITEM 5: Greg Piper reported, "Oberlin College refuses to take responsibility for its own administrators’ defaming and retaliating against a bakery whose race-neutral anti-shoplifting policy enraged Oberlin students.

"Following a judgment of $25 million in damages and $6.5 million in attorney’s fees and expenses, the judge has agreed to stay the execution of his judgment – but it will cost Oberlin.

"Judge John Miraldi ordered the Ohio liberal arts college to post a bond of more than $36 million to cover the judgment plus interest while Oberlin appeals. Without explaining his reasoning, he approved the exact amount the Gibson’s Bakery plaintiffs had asked Oberlin to pay in lieu of letting them collect on the judgment immediately.

"The bond will remain in place until Aug. 19, though it will be extended until Sept. 9 if the college 'timely' files its post-trial motions on or before Aug. 19, Miraldi wrote. He’ll rule on its motions by Sept. 9."

It is amateur hour at Oberlin's office of general counsel. Rather than negotiate a settlement, these fools are betting that they can win on appeal.

This happens when you promote a Title IX czar to dean of students.

ITEM 6: ABC reported, "Following more than six hours of questioning of former special counsel Robert Mueller before two different congressional committees, Democrats and Republicans remain largely splintered on impeaching President Donald Trump, even as nearly half of Americans show little movement on their support or opposition to the move, according to a new ABC News/Ipsos poll."

TV ratings were low. Democrats have failed to flip even one supporter of Donald Trump. November 3, 2020, may be another long night for Martha Raddatz.

ITEM 7: The Los Angeles Times reported, "WARREN, Mich. — Line workers rolled into the Motor City Sports Bar & Grill after their shift ended, clinking Budweiser bottles, playing billiards and trying to talk above a loud mix of rap and country music.

"Workers at the nearby GM transmission plant come to this restaurant for lunch, happy hour or to get an early start on the weekend. But this was no typical Friday. For many of the workers, it was their final day at the 78-year-old plant."

So much for Urkel's $50 billion bailout of Chrysler and GM.

ITEM 8: President Donald John Trump tweeted, "Consideration is being given to declaring ANTIFA, the gutless Radical Left Whack Jobs who go around hitting (only non-fighters) people over the heads with baseball bats, a major Organization of Terror (along with MS-13 & others). Would make it easier for police to do their job!"

He could have done this 2 years ago.

ITEM 9: The Washington Post reported: "A red state is plastering ‘In God We Trust’ on the walls of public schools. It's mandatory."

It is the national motto.

The state is South Dakota.

ITEM 10: The New York Post reported, "British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s politics aren’t the only way he’s shaking up his new elected office.

"The Tory leader is also turning heads for his complicated relationship with 31-year-old girlfriend Carrie Symonds, whom he has been dating as he seeks a divorce from Marina Wheeler, his second wife and the mother of his four children.

"When Johnson moves into London’s 10 Downing Street, he will reportedly be bringing his new beau, making them the first unmarried occupants of the historic residence, according to The Sun.

"Symonds — who is 24 years her boyfriend’s junior — was spotted Wednesday waiting for him on Downing Street following his first official meeting with Queen Elizabeth."

She is a babe. Midway between a Monica and a Melania.

ITEM 11Fox News reported, "Former Trump adviser George Papadopoulos told Fox News' Maria Bartiromo in an exclusive interview that he is heading back to Greece to retrieve $10,000 that he suspects was dropped in his lap as part of an entrapment scheme by the CIA or FBI -- and federal investigators want to see the marked bills, which he said are now stored in a safe.

"Papadopoulos said on Sunday Morning Futures he was 'very happy' to see Devin Nunes, R-Calif., grill former Special Counsel Robert Mueller about the summer 2017 payment during last week's hearings -- even though Mueller maintained, without explanation, that the matter was outside the scope of his investigation."

Urkel's administration tried to frame President Trump's staff. Disgusting. We will see if anyone is punished. If not, President Trump should spy on Urkel. Make them live by their rules.

ITEM 12: Politico reported, "Four more rank-and-file Democrats called for opening an impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump on Sunday, inching lawmakers closer to a significant symbolic milestone: a majority of all House Democrats.

"Though the steadily climbing total may not move Speaker Nancy Pelosi off of her resistance to opening a formal impeachment inquiry, Sunday’s burst of support suggests momentum behind the effort is growing and accelerating. More than a dozen Democrats — including Rep. Katherine Clark (D-Mass.), a member of Pelosi’s leadership team — have newly signaled their support since former special counsel Robert Mueller testified to Congress on Wednesday.

"The four who issued their support on Sunday, all from Washington state, bring the total number of House Democrats who have publicly said they’d vote for an impeachment inquiry to 107 — 11 shy of a majority of the Democratic Caucus — with backers of an inquiry promising there are more waiting in the wings."

Why do I get the feeling Brad Parscale is behind all this?
